I have a plumbing emergency, what should I do?

Once that’s sorted, give us a call, whatever the day or time is. We will be there shortly to fix the leak.

While you are waiting, clear away any significant items from the area, and wipe up any water or put a bucket to catch the drips. If you turned the mains water off, also switch off the hot water heating as well.

Help, I don’t know where the main water shutoff valve is!

You may have been shown it as a stopcock, isolating valve or toby. This valve is normally located on the boundary near the road, usually under a blue or black plastic cover.
